To maximize burn time and to minimize wax left on the sides of the jar, burn 3 hours at a time.
When lighting a jar candle for the first time, be sure to burn long enough (approximately 3-4 hours) for the wax to completely pool or liquefy to the outer edge of the jar.
Keep wick trimmed to 1/4" and centered: reposition as needed by quickly moving wick back to center with a metal spoon handle. Avoid drafts or excessive vibrations. Caution: Extinguish the flame before trimming the wick.
Handle with care, as container may become hot.
Avoid glass-to-glass contact when removing or replacing lid. Do not use if cracked, chipped, or scratched and do not refill with wax.
Specific usage conditions, fragrance & color may affect burn performance.
Never allow the flame to come in direct contact with the side of the container.
Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains. This will prevent possible heat damage to the counter/surface or container itself.
If a candle is exposed to moisture, it may not re-light. Water that becomes overheated and trapped by wax can cause an explosive splattering of hot wax. Don't leave uncovered candles outdoors overnight.
Extinguish candle before replacing the lid.
Do not eat! 100% stabilized soy wax and Soy Beads are not edible.
Electric candle warmers are not recommended for Beanpod candles.
